This disc cleans the coulter disc on the seed drill, removing soil and residue that would otherwise prevent consistent seed placement. It mounts on the same hub as the coulter and rotates in contact with the disc face. A worn or bent cleaning disc allows soil buildup on the coulter, leading to uneven seeding depth and poor seed-to-soil contact. This part is manufactured to the original geometry so it maintains the correct contact angle and gap relative to the coulter surface.
