This valve is the pressure-regulating component mounted directly on the pump body of a sprayer. It controls the maximum system pressure by opening to bypass excess flow back to the pump inlet or tank when the set pressure is exceeded. A worn or stuck valve causes pressure instability, leading to uneven nozzle output or pump overload.
