A worn pump produces slow implement response, reduced steering assist, and audible whine from the hydraulic system. The manufacturer machines the gear-set and housing bore to the same clearance as the original assembly, so the pump maintains the designed volumetric efficiency without requiring shimming or adapter plates. On installation, ensure the drive coupling engages fully and that the inlet line is free of debris; replace the O-ring on the pressure-port fitting.
