Issue description
This code indicates an electrical fault in the circuit controlling the "Pump Not tank" solenoid valve. The controller has detected that the electrical circuit to this solenoid is either broken (open circuit) or shorting out against the chassis/ground (shorted to ground).

Check the cause
Visual Wiring Inspection: Inspect the wiring harness routing from the ATC controller to the front suspension control block (often located near the front axle accumulators or lower fan shroud) for wire chafing.
Connector Check: Disconnect the 2-pole electrical connector at the 'Pump Not tank' solenoid. Inspect for moisture, corrosion, or pushed-out pins.
Coil Resistance Test: Using a multimeter, measure the resistance across the two pins of the solenoid coil. An infinite reading (OL) indicates an internally open coil, while a near-zero reading indicates an internally shorted coil.
Harness Continuity Test: Check the harness between the solenoid connector and the ATC module for continuity. Test both wires for a short to ground by checking for continuity between the wire and the tractor chassis.
Repair steps
Preparation
Park the tractor on a flat, level surface. Lower the front suspension completely (if the system allows) or support the front chassis with heavy-duty stands to relieve hydraulic pressure from the suspension block. Turn off the engine and remove the key.
Locate the Valve
Locate the front suspension control block on the front axle assembly. Identify the "Pump Not tank" solenoid valve (refer to your specific model's hydraulic schematic to distinguish it from the rod-side and piston-side damping solenoids).
Wiring Repair (If Applicable)
If the diagnostic tests revealed a broken or chafed wire in the harness, splice and repair the wire using weather-sealed heat-shrink connectors, or replace the damaged pigtail connector.
Solenoid Replacement (If Applicable)
If the solenoid coil failed the resistance test, thoroughly clean the exterior of the valve block to prevent dirt ingress. Remove the retaining nut at the end of the solenoid stem and slide the faulty electromagnetic coil off the valve cartridge.
Installation
Slide the new solenoid coil onto the valve cartridge and tighten the retaining nut. Reconnect the 2-pole electrical harness connector.
Calibration
Start the tractor and clear the inactive fault codes. You must perform a front axle suspension calibration via the tractor's instrument cluster or a dealer diagnostic tool so the ATC can relearn the valve's electrical parameters and operating pressures.
