Case IH 10007 – Front Suspension Controller (FSUS) or Transmission Controller (TRANS): Front Suspension will not Lower error
Issue description
The tractor's control system has commanded the front axle suspension to lower, but the system is not detecting the expected change in physical position or hydraulic pressure. This is typically caused by an electrical fault in the suspension solenoids, a failed position/pressure sensor, or a stuck hydraulic lock valve.

Check the cause
Check the Lock Valve: Verify if the front suspension lock valve is stuck in the 'on' position. If the valve is stuck, the suspension cannot unlock to lower.
Test Solenoids for Shorts/Opens: Inspect the front suspension rod side valve solenoid, piston side valve solenoid, and pump-to-tank solenoid. Look for open circuits, shorts to ground, or over-current conditions.
Inspect the Position Sensor: Check the front suspension angle/position sensor. Ensure the linkage rod is not bent or disconnected. Check if the sensor is reading out of range (high or low voltage).
Verify Pressure Transducers: Check the live readings of the front suspension piston pressure transducer and rod pressure transducer. If one is reading an impossible value (e.g., out of range high/low), it will prevent the system from operating.
Check Power Supply & Fuses: Verify the 12V supply to the suspension module. A blown fuse can cause the solenoids to lose power, preventing the suspension from moving.
Hydraulic Inspection: Inspect the hydraulic hoses, fittings, and suspension cylinders for physical damage, leaks, or blockages.

Reset the System
Disconnect the tractor's battery for a short period to reset the electronic control systems and clear any temporary glitch codes.
Wiring & Harness Repair
Inspect the wiring harness leading to the suspended axle control valve block. Clean the connectors with contact cleaner and repair any chafed wires.
Replace Faulty Solenoids/Sensors
Using a multimeter, test the resistance of the suspension solenoids and the voltage sweep of the position sensor. Replace any component that fails the electrical test.
Service the Valve Block
If the electronics are sound, the issue is likely mechanical binding within the suspended axle control valve assembly. Remove and inspect the valve block. Clean the spools and replace the control valve cap or the entire assembly if the internal valves are scored or stuck.
Recalibrate the Suspension
After replacing any sensors, solenoids, or valves, you must perform a front suspension calibration. Navigate to the 'H' menus (usually H2 for the RC module) on the instrument cluster or use the electronic service tool to run the suspension travel range calibration.
