Case IH 10008 – Front Suspension controller: Front Suspension Piston Pressure transducer range high error.
Issue description
The signal voltage from the piston-side pressure sensor on the front suspension control valve is reading higher than the acceptable maximum range. This is typically caused by a failed sensor, a short to power in the wiring harness, or an open ground circuit.

Check the cause
Monitor live data in the 'Trans FSUS' menu on the A-Post display for the piston-side pressure sensor.
Lower the front suspension completely and check for zero pressure; both piston and rod sensors must read 0 psi. If the piston sensor still shows high pressure, it is likely failed or shorted.
Inspect the wiring harness and connectors at the control valve for rubbed wires causing a short to a 5V/12V power source, or a broken ground wire.
Verify that the front accumulators have the correct nitrogen charge (typically 856–899 PSI).
Repair steps
Depressurize the System
Safely lower the front suspension completely to the ground to relieve all hydraulic pressure from the piston and rod sides of the cylinders. Do not attempt to remove the sensor while the suspension is supporting the tractor's weight.
Locate the Sensor
Locate the suspended front axle control valve block (usually mounted near the front axle). Identify the piston-side pressure transducer.
Remove the Sensor
Disconnect the electrical harness connector from the transducer. Unthread and remove the faulty pressure transducer.
Install the New Sensor
Thread the new pressure transducer into the control valve block and tighten to OEM specifications. Reconnect the electrical harness.
Calibrate the Suspension
Start the tractor and navigate to the 'Trans FSUS' menu on the display to run the suspended axle calibration.
Verify Calibration
The calibration will lower the suspension fully. Verify that the new sensor reads 0 psi at the bottom of the stroke. If it reads 0 psi, the system will allow the calibration to complete and raise the front end.
