Case IH 10010 – Front Suspension Controller: Front Suspension Rod Pressure transducer range high error
Issue description
The control module is receiving a voltage signal from the pressure transducer on the rod side of the front suspension cylinder that exceeds the maximum acceptable threshold. This condition is almost always electrical and typically indicates a short circuit to power (e.g., 5V or 12V), an open ground circuit, or an internally shorted/failed pressure sensor.

Check the cause
Visually inspect the rod-side pressure transducer on the front suspension hydraulic valve block/cylinder, checking the electrical connector and wiring harness for chafing, corrosion, moisture intrusion, or bent pins.
Disconnect the sensor and perform a voltage and ground check to verify the connector is receiving the correct 5V reference voltage and has a solid ground connection.
Test the signal wire for a short circuit to a 5V or 12V power source, which will artificially drive the voltage high.
If the wiring harness tests perfectly (good 5V, good ground, no shorts on the signal wire), verify if the transducer itself has failed internally.
Repair steps
Secure the Machine
Park the tractor on a hard, level surface. Lower any attached implements to the ground, turn off the engine, and engage the parking brake.
Relieve Hydraulic Pressure
Relieve all hydraulic pressure from the front suspension system before loosening the sensor. Follow the operator's manual procedure to depressurize the suspension block.
Remove the Sensor
Disconnect the electrical pigtail/harness from the faulty rod pressure transducer. Using the appropriate wrench, carefully unscrew the transducer from the suspension valve block.
Install the New Sensor
Thread the new pressure transducer into the port. Torque it to OEM specifications (Case IH Magnum service manuals generally specify 19 to 25 Nm / 14 to 18.5 lb-ft for hydraulic pressure transducers).
Reconnect and Clear
Reconnect the electrical harness. Turn the key on and use the cab display or a diagnostic tool to clear the inactive 10010 fault code.
Recalibrate
Run a Front Suspension Calibration cycle after replacing suspension sensors. Failing to do so will likely trigger secondary codes (such as 10014 or 142: "Front Suspension Not calibrated error").
