Case IH 10011 – CCM (Chassis Control Module) or ICU2 / ADIC (Advanced Display Instrument Cluster): Chassis accelerometer - voltage too high (short circuit to 5V)
Issue description
The chassis accelerometer signal voltage exceeds the normal operating range, indicating that the signal circuit is shorted directly to the 5-volt reference supply.

Check the cause
Locate the chassis accelerometer mounted in the front nose/chassis area of the tractor
Inspect the accelerometer extension harness and the main front suspension harness for visible damage, rubbing, or pinched wires that could cause a short
Disconnect the accelerometer and inspect the connector pins for corrosion, moisture, or bent pins
Using a multimeter, test the signal wire for continuity to the 5V reference wire to check for a harness short
Verify that the sensor is receiving a proper 5V reference and a solid ground from the CCM
If the wiring harness tests good (no short to 5V in the harness itself), verify if the accelerometer has an internal short and must be replaced
Repair steps
Turn off the tractor and disconnect the battery
Prevents electrical spikes.
Disconnect the electrical connector
Disconnect the electrical connector from the chassis accelerometer.
Repair or replace wiring
If a wiring fault was found during diagnostics, repair the shorted wires or replace the accelerometer extension harness.
Replace the chassis accelerometer
If the sensor is internally shorted, unbolt the faulty chassis accelerometer from its mounting bracket and install the replacement sensor.
Reconnect electricals
Reconnect the electrical connector and the battery.
Clear fault codes
Clear the fault codes using the diagnostic menu or a service tool.
Perform a front suspension calibration
Crucial Step: The suspension system must be recalibrated after replacing the sensor or repairing the circuit to restore the active suspension functionality. Fault code 10011 is almost always accompanied by or followed by code 10024 (Front suspension not calibrated).
