Case IH 10013 – Front Suspension control module / ATC (Armrest/Tractor Controller): Front suspension piston side pressure will not raise error.

The tractor's control system is commanding the front suspension to raise by increasing hydraulic pressure on the piston side of the suspension cylinders, but the pressure transducer (sensor) is failing to detect the expected increase in pressure.

   Verify adequate hydraulic fluid levels and ensure the main hydraulic pump is engaging.

   Inspect the front suspension cylinders, hydraulic lines, and the suspension valve block for visible leaks.

   Check the pressure sensor (transducer) wiring harness and connector for open circuits or shorts to ground, and test its voltage output.

   Inspect the front suspension piston-side valve solenoid for a stuck cartridge valve or a burnt-out coil.

   Check the nitrogen-charged accumulators mounted on the valve block for a ruptured bladder.

   Attempt to calibrate the suspended front axle using the tractor's monitor; if it drops to the stops and fails, it confirms a hard physical fault.

   Relieve System Pressure

   Park the tractor on a level surface and turn off the engine. Ensure the front suspension is fully lowered to the stops to relieve mechanical pressure. Locate the suspended axle control valve block and use the manual thumb screws on top of the block to bleed off any residual hydraulic pressure.

   Back-Seat Valves

   Once the pressure is fully relieved and the chassis is settled, back-seat the thumb screws to their normal operating position.

   Replace the Faulty Component

   If the sensor failed: Unscrew the faulty pressure transducer from the right side of the suspension valve block, install the replacement sensor, and reconnect the wiring harness. If the solenoid/valve failed: Remove the retaining nut on the solenoid, slide off the coil, unscrew the cartridge valve from the block, and install the new valve and coil. If an accumulator failed: Unscrew the bad accumulator and install a new one (ensure it is pre-charged to the correct nitrogen specification, often around 650 psi).

   Recalibrate the Suspension

   Start the tractor. Drive the tractor to a flat area, enter the AFS monitor's diagnostic menu, and run the front suspension calibration routine until it completes successfully to clear the resulting code 10014 (Front Suspension Not calibrated error).
