Case IH 10014 – Front Suspension Controller: Front Suspension Not calibrated error
Issue description
This indicates that the control module does not have valid calibration values stored for the front axle suspension system's full range of travel (minimum and maximum heights), or a recent calibration attempt failed or was interrupted.

Check the cause
Check for accompanying active sensor codes such as 10004/10005 (Position sensor out of range) or 10008–10011 (Piston/Rod pressure transducer range errors) and resolve them first.
Visually inspect the front suspension position sensor (potentiometer) and its mechanical linkage located under the front left of the tractor. Ensure the linkage is not bent, broken, or disconnected.
Verify the position sensor voltage changes smoothly as the suspension moves using a multimeter or diagnostic tool. The voltage must not drop below the expected absolute limit (typically 740mV).
Verify the nitrogen charge pressure in the suspension accumulators. Case IH accumulator charge pressure should typically be between 856–899 PSI.
Ensure the regulated hydraulic pressure is within specification (typically 22.4 - 24.5 bar / 325 - 355 psi at 1500 RPM).
Repair steps
Prepare tractor for calibration
Park the tractor on a flat, level surface. Ensure there are no heavy front implements attached that might restrict full suspension travel.
Warm up hydraulic oil
Start the engine and let it run until the hydraulic oil reaches normal operating temperature (at least 49°C / 120°F).
Access calibration menu
Access the calibration menu using the CNH Electronic Service Tool (EST) laptop, or via the tractor's built-in diagnostic HH Menu by inserting the diagnostic test switch (Tool 380000488) into the diagnostic connector (C125) located behind the Electronic Draft Control panel.
Navigate to Front Suspension Calibration
Navigate to the Front Suspension Calibration menu on the instrument cluster or EST.
Initiate calibration
Follow the on-screen prompts to initiate the calibration. The system will automatically command the hydraulic valves to raise the front axle to its maximum height and lower it to its minimum height.
Record voltages
The controller will record the position sensor voltages at both extremes.
Troubleshoot failed calibration
If the calibration fails (e.g., throws a code 141 or 150 during the process), manually adjust the position sensor linkage to ensure the voltage stays within the 740mV - 4500mV range, and verify the rod/piston pressure sensors are not reading out of range.
Save parameters and test drive
Once calibration is successful, cycle the key switch to save the parameters and test drive the tractor to confirm the suspension operates smoothly.
