Case IH 10022 – Front Suspension Control Module: Front Suspension 10022 12VM voltage supply is low. (possible blown fuse*)

This code indicates that the 12VM (12-Volt Main/Module) power supply circuit feeding the front suspension system has dropped below the acceptable voltage threshold.

   Check the main fuse block for a blown front suspension fuse

   Test battery and alternator voltage to ensure the core electrical system is outputting 12+ volts

   Visually inspect the wiring harness from the cab fuse block to the front axle suspension controller for pinch points, chafing, or heat damage

   Disconnect the harness at the Front Suspension Control Module and perform a pinpoint voltage test at the 12VM supply pin with the key ON

   Power Down

   Turn off the tractor, remove the key, and disconnect the battery ground cable to ensure safety while working on the electrical system.

   Access the Fuse Block

   Remove the fuse block cover and locate the front suspension fuse.

   Replace the Fuse

   Pull the fuse and inspect it. If the filament is broken or scorched, replace it with a new fuse of the exact same amperage rating.

   Test the Circuit

   Reconnect the battery, turn the key to the ON position, and check if the fault code 10022 clears.

   Trace for Shorts

   If the new fuse blows immediately upon key-on, there is a dead short to ground in the 12VM circuit. Trace the power wire from the fuse panel to the suspension controller, repairing any exposed copper touching the tractor chassis.

   Repair Wiring/Connectors

   If the fuse was good but voltage at the module is low, locate the point of high resistance. Clean any corroded pins at the module connectors using electrical contact cleaner. Splice and solder any broken wires in the harness, sealing them with marine-grade heat shrink.

   Final Calibration

   Once power is restored and the code is cleared, test the front suspension raise/lower functions to ensure the module is fully operational.
