Case IH 10024 – Front Suspension (UCM/VCM or ICU): 12VF1 voltage supply is low. (possible blown fuse*)
Issue description
The control module is detecting that the voltage on the 12VF1 power input circuit has dropped below the normal operating threshold. The system explicitly flags this as a likely blown fuse on the power supply line.

Check the cause
Locate the main fuse and relay panel behind the operator's seat by removing the rubber liner and tray.
Identify the 12VF1 fuse, usually located in Block 2B, position F-053 (labeled UCM/VCM +12VF1) on Magnum models.
Pull the fuse and check for a blown filament, using a multimeter to check for continuity.
If the fuse is blown, inspect the wiring harness on the 12VF1 circuit for chafed wires or shorts to ground before replacing it.
Check the UCM/VCM connectors to ensure they are tight, undamaged, and that the pins are seated in the correct positions.
Repair steps
Turn off the tractor and remove the key to de-energize the cab circuits.
Remove the rubber liner and tray behind the operator's seat to expose the fuse and relay panel.
Locate fuse F-053 (5A) in Block 2B.
If the fuse is blown, repair any exposed or shorted wiring found during your diagnostic checks on the front suspension harness.
Install a new 5A fuse into the F-053 slot.
If the fuse was not blown, use a multimeter to measure the voltage at the fuse terminal and at the UCM/VCM power input pin to trace where the voltage drop is occurring.
Repair the damaged wire or connector causing the open circuit.
Turn the key on. If the fault code is no longer present, return the machine to proper operation.
