Case IH 10025 – CCM (Chassis Control Module): Rod side pressure will not raise (applicable to only CCM LWB)
Issue description
The tractor's control system is commanding the front suspension rod side to increase hydraulic pressure (to raise the suspension), but the pressure transducer is failing to detect the expected pressure increase. This typically points to a malfunctioning hydraulic solenoid, a failed pressure sensor, or a hydraulic supply issue (such as low pressure or a clogged filter).

Check the cause
Verify the tractor's hydraulic fluid levels and ensure the hydraulic filter is not damaged or clogged.
Access the Trans FSUS (Front Suspension) menu on the tractor's A-Post display to monitor sensor data.
Fully lower the front suspension to verify a zero pressure state. Both pressure sensors must read exactly 0 psi right after the suspension is fully lowered. If a sensor reads above 0 psi when physically bottomed out, the sensor is faulty.
Inspect the wiring harness and connectors leading to the suspended axle control valve assembly. Look for open circuits, shorts to ground, or damaged pins on both the rod side valve solenoid and the pressure transducer.
Repair steps
Depressurize the System
Safely lower the front suspension completely to the ground to relieve hydraulic pressure before servicing the valve block.
Locate the Valve Block
Locate the Suspended Axle Control Valve Assembly on the front axle.
Replace Faulty Components
If the diagnostic checks revealed a sensor failing to read 0 psi when lowered, remove and replace the pressure sensor. If the issue is isolated to the solenoid failing to open the valve, replace the rod side solenoid coil and/or the internal cartridge valve.
Install New Seals
If replacing the cartridge valve, always use a new seal kit (O-rings) to prevent internal hydraulic bypassing.
Calibrate the Suspension
After replacing the parts, you must run the suspended front axle calibration procedure through the cab monitor. Note: The calibration will immediately fail (throwing a 'cal fail' or 'slow down movement' error) if the new sensors do not read 0 psi at the very beginning of the sequence.
