Case IH 10032 – CCM (Chassis Control Module): Piston pressure sensor range low fault

The signal voltage or pressure reading returning from the piston pressure sensor has fallen below the minimum acceptable threshold expected by the control module.

   Inspect the leveling valve and piston pressure sensor wiring harness for chafing, breaks, or shorts to ground

   Check the 3-pin electrical connector at the sensor for corrosion, moisture, or backed-out pins

   Verify that the piston pressure sensor is physically installed correctly and securely

   Use a multimeter to test the sensor's signal voltage to determine if the sensor has failed internally or if there is a genuine low-pressure physical condition in the circuit

   Power Down

   Turn off the tractor and disconnect the battery ground to ensure safety while working on the Chassis Control Module wiring.

   Locate the Sensor

   Locate the piston pressure sensor on the chassis/suspension valve block.

   Harness Repair

   If the diagnostic checks revealed a damaged harness or connector, splice in a new connector or repair the broken wire.

   Sensor Replacement

   If the wiring is intact but the sensor is outputting a faulty low range, disconnect the 3-pin connector, unthread the faulty piston pressure sensor, and install the replacement sensor.

   Reassembly and Clearing Codes

   Reconnect the electrical connector and battery. Power on the machine, clear the 10032 fault code from the CCM, and run the tractor's suspension/chassis systems to verify the code does not return.
