Case IH 10034 – CCM (Chassis Control Module): Rod pressure sensor range low fault

The system is receiving a signal from the front suspension cylinder's rod-side pressure sensor that falls below the minimum acceptable voltage or pressure threshold. This typically points to a failed sensor, an open circuit, or a short to ground in the sensor's wiring.

   Inspect the wiring harness leading to the rod pressure sensor for any open circuits, chafing, or shorts to ground.

   Using a diagnostic service tool, check the displayed sensor reading during the calibration process. If the value is consistently less than the minimum set limit and the wiring is intact, the sensor itself has failed.

   Relieve hydraulic pressure

   Safely park the tractor and relieve all hydraulic pressure from the front suspension system.

   Disconnect harness

   Disconnect the electrical harness from the faulty rod pressure sensor.

   Remove sensor

   Remove the defective sensor from the suspension cylinder/manifold.

   Change rod pressure sensor

   Install the new replacement sensor and reconnect the wiring harness.

   Recalibrate

   You MUST perform the "APH SWB & APH Front Suspension Calibration" procedure so the CCM can learn the new sensor's baseline values.

   Clear codes and test

   Clear the fault codes and test the suspension to ensure it raises and lowers correctly without throwing the code again.
