   Verify that the hitch controller has good, clean power and ground connections.

   Using the electronic service tool, verify that the correct software is installed in the hitch controller.

   Inspect the wiring harness at connector C059 (11-pin connector). Ensure that no wires are connected to cavities 1, 2, and 3. If wires are present, correct the wiring problem.

   Clear the fault code from the system, cycle the key switch, and operate the tractor. If the code returns, the controller has failed.
