   Connect the Electronic Service Tool (EST) to check if the code is active or stored as a historical glitch

   Verify the current software version on the Hitch/EDC controller

   Check the tractor's configuration settings in the display to ensure no unsupported hitch features are toggled on

   Check the CAN data bus for communication stability, as dropped packets can sometimes trigger unassigned placeholder codes

   Connect EST

   Connect the Case IH Electronic Service Tool (EST) to the tractor's diagnostic port.

   Clear codes
