The 8 volt reference is above 8.8 volts. This is typically a software configuration error where the system is incorrectly configured to look for hitch load pin(s) (draft sensors) on a tractor model that was not manufactured with them.

   Circuit Testing (If Configuration is Correct): Use a multimeter to test the 8-volt reference circuit at the ATC/EDC module. Check for a short to a higher voltage source (such as the 12V system) that would push the reference voltage above the 8.8V threshold.
