   Visual Inspection: Access the underside of the armrest console and inspect the wiring harness and connector at the 2nd remote flow potentiometer. Look for chafed wires, pinched harnesses, or loose connector pins.

   Voltage Supply Check: Disconnect the potentiometer. Turn the key ON (engine off) and use a multimeter to check the connector for a 5.0V reference signal and a good ground coming from the armrest controller. If the 5V reference is missing, the issue is likely a broken wire in the harness or a failed armrest controller.

   Sense Circuit Check: Check the sense wire for continuity back to the controller and ensure it is not shorted to ground.

   Potentiometer Resistance Test: Measure the resistance of the potentiometer itself (it is a 1000 Ohm potentiometer). Sweep the dial slowly; the resistance should change smoothly without any dead spots or sudden drops to zero. If it reads open or shorted, the potentiometer has failed internally.

   Power Down

   Turn off the tractor and disconnect the battery to prevent electrical shorts during the repair.

   Remove the 3/8-32 retaining nut securing the potentiometer to the console panel.
