Case IH 12924 – ADIC / CCM: Database Version Number

Indicates a software version mismatch or an outdated database reference within the tractor's onboard diagnostic system. This fault code has been officially removed/deprecated from the system.

   Verify the active fault codes on the ADIC display.

   Check the current software and database version of the Cab Control Module (CCM) and the Advanced Display Instrument Cluster (ADIC).

   Confirm that no other active CAN bus communication errors are present.

   Connect EST

   Connect the Case IH Electronic Service Tool (EST) to the tractor's diagnostic port.

   Navigate to modules

   Navigate to the ADIC and CCM modules.

   Flash/update modules

   Flash/update the modules with the latest CNH software calibration. Updating the software will overwrite the obsolete database version and permanently clear the removed fault code 12924.

   Cycle key

   Cycle the key off to store the new calibration values, then turn the key back on to verify the code has cleared.
