Case IH 150 – Transmission (TRANS) Controller: Front suspension pressure sensor rod side (DA-R) out of range high
Issue description
The sensor monitoring the hydraulic pressure on the rod side of the front suspension cylinders is sending a voltage signal to the controller that exceeds the maximum expected threshold, typically pointing to an internal sensor failure, a wiring harness shorted to a high-voltage source, or an open ground circuit.

Check the cause
Monitor live pressure readings in the 'Trans FSUS' (Front Suspension) menu on the tractor's A-Post display
Perform a zero-pressure test by fully lowering the front suspension; the pressure sensor should read exactly 0 psi right after bottoming out
Inspect the wiring harness and connector at the rod side pressure sensor on the front axle control valve for rubbed wires, corrosion, or a short to power
Attempt a suspended front axle calibration; if the system aborts with a 'cal fail' or 'slow down movement' error, the sensors are likely preventing completion and need replacement
Repair steps
Relieve Pressure
Safely lower the front suspension completely to relieve all hydraulic pressure in the system. Verify via the A-Post display that the pressure reads 0 psi to ensure safe removal.
Locate the Sensor
Locate the suspended front axle control valve block, where the pressure sensors are mounted.
Disconnect
Unplug the electrical harness connector from the rod side (DA-R) pressure sensor.
Remove
Unthread and remove the faulty pressure sensor from the control valve block. Have a rag ready to catch any residual hydraulic fluid.
Install
Thread the new pressure sensor into the valve block and tighten it to the OEM specified torque.
Reconnect
Plug the electrical harness back into the new sensor.
Calibrate
Initiate and complete a full suspended axle calibration procedure through the tractor's display system so the Transmission controller can learn the new sensor's zero-point.
