Case IH 15248 – MTA CCM (Cab Control Module) / Steering Valve Controller: Vehicle speed too high
Issue description
The system has detected that the tractor's speed has exceeded the maximum allowable threshold (over 31 MPH).

Check the cause
Verify with the operator if the tractor was actually driven or towed at speeds exceeding 31 MPH
Check the physical function of the ignition switch and the steering roading switch, as these are required to perform the module reset
Ensure the tractor is safely stationary and can be placed into the PARK position
Repair steps
Stop tractor
Bring the tractor to a complete stop.
Turn off ignition
Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
Turn on ignition or cycle switch
Turn the ignition switch back to the ON position. Alternatively: Place the tractor in PARK and cycle the steering roading switch.
Wait for reset
Wait approximately 5 seconds for the control module to process and clear the fault.
Resume operation
Resume normal operation.
