This is a consequential fault code indicating that the steering valve electronic system has detected a critical issue and forced the steering controller into a protective 'safe state' (disabling auto-guidance and electronic steering interventions). This safe state is triggered exclusively because other primary steering valve controller fault codes are currently active.

   Read the fault stack using the Case IH Electronic Service Tool (EST) or AFS Pro display to find all active fault codes in the Steering Valve Controller.

   Identify primary codes (e.g., 15260, 15262, 15267, 15255, 15257) that triggered the safe state.

   Inspect the wiring harness connecting the Steering Valve Controller to the hydraulic steering valve solenoids for chafed wires, moisture in connectors, or bent pins.

   Troubleshoot the Primary Fault

   Refer to the specific diagnostic procedure for the primary fault code(s) found during your checks (e.g., replacing a stuck cut-off solenoid on the steering valve, repairing a shorted road-switch wire, or replacing a failed LVDT sensor).

   Replace Faulty Components

   If the primary code indicates an internal mechanical failure of the steering valve spool or a burned-out controller, replace the affected component.

   Clear the Fault Codes

   Once the root cause is repaired, use the diagnostic tool to clear the inactive fault codes from the SVC/SRC memory.

   Cycle Power

   Turn the tractor's key switch off for at least 30 seconds, then turn it back on to allow the controllers to reboot and initialize.
