Case IH 15939 - 02 - CSM – CSM: Cab suspension left valve - cab suspension left valve driver erro
Issue description
The fault code indicates an electrical issue with the Cab Suspension Left Valve. Specifically, a 'driver error' means that the internal driver (the electronic switch inside the control module that provides power or ground to the valve) has detected an abnormal electrical condition.
Applies to these machines
5 machines- MAGNUM AFS Connect
- Puma
- Magnum
- Steiger
- Quadtrac
Check the cause
Visual Inspection: Inspect the wiring harness leading to the left cab suspension valve for chafing, pinch points, or melted insulation.
Connector Check: Disconnect the left cab suspension valve. Check the pins for corrosion, moisture, or pushed-out terminals.
Coil Resistance Test: Measure the resistance across the pins of the left valve's solenoid coil using a multimeter. Compare it to the right valve to see if the coil is open (infinite resistance) or shorted.
Harness Continuity Test: Disconnect the harness at the CSM and at the valve. Check for continuity on the power and ground wires, and verify neither wire is shorted to the tractor chassis.
