Case IH 15985 - 02 - CSM – CSM: Cab Suspension Module (CSM) memory error

The module's internal memory (Flash memory or EEPROM) has experienced data loss, corruption, or a mismatch between the original programmed software and the current operating program. This prevents the controller from properly managing the active damping and position of the cab suspension.

   Use a diagnostic tool to clear the fault code to determine if it was a transient glitch caused by electromagnetic compatibility issues or temporary voltage drops

   Verify battery voltage and check fuses, power supply, and ground to the CSM, as low voltage during startup can cause memory read/write errors

   Inspect connectors and continuity of the harnesses linking the CSM for short-circuits, open circuits, or damaged pins

   Check the compatibility of the program versions and settings, as the module may require a software re-flash or calibration update
