   Identify the specific root cause (FID) that triggered the OBDGenFaultClct10 code, such as DEF quality, EGR blockages, or tampering.

   Verify the quality and concentration of the Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF/AdBlue) in the tank.

   Connect Diagnostic Equipment

   Connect the diagnostic tester to the vehicle's ECM to read all active and pending fault codes.

   Follow the repair action for the specific failure that triggered the inducement. If triggered by Reagent Quality, drain the DEF tank and refill with fresh, known-good Diesel Exhaust Fluid. If triggered by an EGR fault (e.g., EGR valve blocked), clean or replace the EGR valve. If triggered by a tampering fault, restore the emissions system to factory specifications.
