   Check hydraulic oil level immediately, as commanded by the fault code

   Inspect the hydraulic filter for restriction or metal particles, which can cause a drop in charge pressure

   Inspect the charge pressure switch/sensor and its electrical connector for internal oil breaches or failures

   Safely park the tractor and turn off the engine.

   Ensure the machine is safely parked before beginning diagnostics.

   Check the hydraulic reservoir level.

   Immediately check the hydraulic reservoir level. Top off with the specified CNH hydraulic fluid if the level is low.

   Inspect the hydraulic filter.

   If the fluid level is correct, remove and inspect the hydraulic filter for clogs or metal shavings. Replace if necessary.

   Inspect the wiring harness.

   Inspect the wiring harness leading to the hydraulic charge pressure switch for shorts, breaks, or oil contamination.

   Verify hydraulic charge pressure.

   If the wiring is intact, verify the actual hydraulic charge pressure using a mechanical test gauge.

   Replace switch or diagnose pump.

   If the mechanical gauge shows normal pressure, replace the faulty hydraulic charge pressure switch. If the pressure is genuinely low, further diagnosis of the transmission charge pump is required.
