Issue description
The Engine Control Module (ECM) has detected unintended battery voltage on the actuator supply 8 circuit. This specific supply circuit corresponds to pins 3.45 and 3.46 on the MD1CE101 ECU.

Check the cause
Turn the key OFF and disconnect the battery to prevent further electrical damage.
Locate the Bosch MD1CE101 ECU and disconnect Connector 3.
Inspect the wiring harness at pins 3.45 and 3.46. According to CNH wiring diagrams, pin 3.45 is designated for 'Cabin & dashboard supply 1' (O_V_DBS1).
Check the harness for chafing, melted insulation, or pinched wires between the ECU and the cabin/dashboard interface that could cause the circuit to short to a constant battery voltage source.
With the ECU disconnected, turn the key ON and use a multimeter to measure the voltage at pins 3.45 and 3.46 on the harness side. If battery voltage is present, the short to power is located within the wiring harness.
If the harness tests good (no voltage present when disconnected) and all related cabin supply relays/components test normal, the short is likely internal to the Bosch MD1CE101 ECU.
