Case IH 17742 (F-518166-31) - ECU – Engine Control Module (ECM / ECU): ECU internal failure - Stack memory threshold overrun error

This is an internal processing error within the control module. It indicates that the measured stack memory consumption inside the processor is greater than the maximum configured 'Stack-Limit' value, meaning the module's internal memory buffer has overflowed.

   Check for parallel faults: Check if any other sensors or voltage faults are active and diagnose those first.

   Clear the memory: Erase the Level 2/3 error from the fault code memory using a diagnostic tool.
