Check the cause
Access the HH Menu using the HH menu on-board diagnostics system.
Connect Diagnostic Lead (special tool required to access HH menu).
Extract stored vehicle fault codes and verify if any other Safety Management Unit alarms (such as Alarm Group 2 or other Group 3 failures) are present.

Check wiring harness
Check the wiring harness for any shorts that could be causing voltage spikes to the ECM.
