Check the cause
Attempt to clear the error code using the tractor's display or a diagnostic tool to see if it is an active or stored (intermittent) fault.
Verify the software version of the ACML. Some ACML communication faults are resolved by updating the module's software to relax error code detection parameters (e.g., increasing detection time from 50 ms to 500 ms).
Inspect the configurable shortcut switch (User Command 2 button) on the armrest for physical damage, sticking, or debris.
Check the internal armrest wiring harness connecting the switch pad to the ACML for pinched wires, loose connector pins, or corrosion.
Repair steps
Disconnect battery
Disconnect the tractor's battery power before servicing the armrest.
Disassemble armrest console
Disassemble the upper armrest console to access the ACML and the switch membrane/button cluster.
Repair or replace wiring
If the wiring harness is damaged, repair or replace the affected CAN bus wires.
Replace switch module or keypad
If the switch itself has failed internally and is sending an erratic signal, replace the affected switch module or the entire armrest control keypad.
Reassemble and recalibrate
Reassemble the armrest, restore power, and use the dealer diagnostic tool (EST) to clear the code and recalibrate the armrest if necessary.
