Issue description

There is a malfunction, implausible signal, or communication issue originating from the cruise control switch located on the Multi-Function Handle (MFH).

Check the cause

  1. Verify the wiring harness and connections between the Multi-Function Handle (MFH) and the Armrest Control Module (ACM) for open circuits, short circuits, or voltage irregularities.

Repair steps

  1. Ensure engine is off

    Ensure the engine is off before replacing the handle or working on the armrest.

  2. Prepare working area

    Keep the working area clean and dry to prevent static electricity build-up or damage to sensitive electronic components.

  3. Replace Multi-Function Handle

    If the cruise switch or the handle itself has failed, replace the Multi-Function Handle (Joystick) as an assembly.
