Case IH 18419: Rear PTO Aggressiveness Switch: 'PTO_AggrsvnsSw' CAN signal from ICP - error state.

Issue description

The CAN (Controller Area Network) data bus is receiving an invalid signal, or has lost communication entirely, regarding the position or command of the PTO aggressiveness switch from the ICP.

Check the cause

  1. Verify the CAN data bus connections between the Multicontroller Armrest/ICP and the main tractor harness

  2. Check for chewed, shorted, or damaged wiring harnesses leading to the cab controllers

  3. Test the ICP programmable buttons and knobs to see if other armrest functions are also failing to communicate over the CAN bus

Repair steps

  1. Replace switch assembly or ICP

    Replace the specific switch assembly or the entire Integrated Control Panel if the switch is hard-soldered to the board.
