Case IH 19108 (DTC 613A) - ECU – Engine Control Module (ECM / EDC) or Denoxtronic Supply Module: DEF/AdBlue supply module pump motor short circuit to battery failure.
Issue description
The system has detected a short circuit to the battery voltage in the power stage of the DEF/AdBlue supply module pump motor. This indicates that the circuit powering the pump motor is receiving battery voltage when it shouldn't be, which is typically caused by a wiring harness shorting to a power source or an internal short circuit within the pump motor itself.

Check the cause
Inspect the wiring harness between the ECM/Denoxtronic module and the DEF supply module for chafed, melted, or exposed wires shorting to a 12V/24V battery source.
Disconnect the DEF pump module and test the harness with a multimeter. If voltage is present on the control circuit while unplugged, the harness is at fault. If the voltage disappears, the short is internal to the DEF pump motor.
Ensure the DEF fluid is clean and free of contamination or crystallization, which can overwork the pump and lead to internal electrical failure.
Repair steps
Disconnect battery
Disconnect the machine's battery to prevent further electrical damage.
Locate module
Locate the DEF supply module (often mounted near the DEF tank).
Disconnect lines and connectors
Disconnect the electrical connectors and the DEF fluid lines from the module.
Remove faulty module
Unbolt the faulty module from its mounting bracket and remove it.
Install new module
Install the new DEF supply module and secure it to the bracket.
Reconnect lines and connectors
Reconnect the DEF fluid lines and electrical connectors.
Reconnect battery
Reconnect the battery.
Program module
The new Bosch Denoxtronic module must be programmed/calibrated to the vehicle's ECM using a dealer-level diagnostic tool (such as Jaltest, TEXA, or Case IH EST) after replacement.
Verify repair
Clear the fault codes and run a system test or forced regeneration to verify the repair.
