Case IH 19194 – Engine Control Unit (ECU): Counter for Charged Air Cooler downstream Pressure
Issue description
Functions as an event counter rather than a traditional component failure code. The Engine Control Unit monitors the charged air cooler (intercooler) downstream pressure; if this pressure exceeds a defined safe threshold (pressure too high), the event is detected and logged. The counter stores the date and the duration of the overpressure event so that technicians can rebuild the history of the failure.

Check the cause
Check for other active fault codes related to the turbocharger, wastegate, or air mass/boost pressure sensors.
Check the raw signal values of the air mass/pressure sensor to ensure they are within the correct operating range (uncorrected values should typically be between 500.00us and under).
Inspect the wiring harness connected to the air mass/boost pressure sensor for shorts, opens, or defects.

Connect the diagnostic tool (e.g., CNH EST) and review the history of code 19194 to determine how often and for how long the engine has been experiencing high charged air cooler downstream pressure.
Inspect Wiring
