   Check the CAN bus wiring for short circuits, open circuits, or disconnected cables between the Engine Control Unit, the DPF sensors, and the Instrument Cluster

   Check the installation and ensure proper connection of the Engine Control Unit and the Instrument Cluster to the vehicle's Chassis CAN network

   Visual Inspection

   Locate the main Chassis CAN bus harness and the wiring leading to the DPF sensors and ECU. Look for chafed wires, melted insulation, or loose/corroded connector pins.

   Test CAN Bus Integrity

   Using a multimeter, test the CAN bus circuit for continuity. Ensure there are no short circuits to ground or to battery voltage. (Standard CAN bus resistance should typically read 60 ohms across CAN High and CAN Low with the battery disconnected).

   Verify Power and Ground

   Test the voltage supply and ground circuits at the ECU and Instrument Cluster to rule out the under-voltage condition mentioned in the diagnostic manual.

   Repair/Replace Wiring

   If a broken wire or short circuit is found in the CAN harness, repair the wiring or replace the affected harness section.

   Module Replacement (If Necessary)
