   Inspect the wiring harness and connectors leading to the engine oil level/temperature sensors for chafing, melted insulation, or water ingress.

   Use the EST to monitor the live data feed of the suspected sensor for erratic jumps or extreme default values (e.g., -40°C or 5V max).
