Case IH 2248 (519183.05) - DEC – DEC: Synchro S Solenoid - open circuit

Electrical failure, specifically an open circuit in the Synchro S Solenoid circuit.

1. 1

   Switch OFF the power supply (ignition key in the OFF position) before disconnecting any electrical connectors.

   Perform a continuity test on the wiring harness between the DEC module and the Synchro S Solenoid to detect the exact location of the open circuit (broken wire or loose pin).

3. 3

   Perform a resistance test directly on the Synchro S Solenoid pins to verify if the internal coil of the solenoid has failed (open).

   Repair wiring

   Repair the broken wire in the harness if an open circuit is found.

   Replace solenoid

   Replace the Synchro S Solenoid if the internal coil fails the resistance test.
