Issue description
The controller is detecting a voltage on the solenoid's circuit that is higher than the expected operating range, which typically points to a wiring harness shorting to a power source, a failed solenoid internal coil, or a controller issue.

Check the cause
Inspect the transmission wiring harness leading to the Synchro M Solenoid. Look for burned wires, rubbed or busted insulation, or connectors that are damaged or loose.
Disconnect the Synchro M Solenoid and inspect the pins for corrosion, moisture, or bent terminals.
With the key on and the solenoid disconnected, use a multimeter to check the signal wire for unexpected voltage (which would confirm a short to power in the harness).
Measure the resistance (Ohms) across the Synchro M Solenoid pins and compare it to OEM specifications to determine if the solenoid itself has failed internally.
Repair steps
Repair wiring harness
Locate the damaged section of the wiring harness and repair/splice the wire.
Replace solenoid
Replace the Synchro M Solenoid if it has failed internally.
Clear fault codes
Clear the inactive fault codes from the DEC using a diagnostic tool (such as the Case IH Pro 1200 monitor or Jaltest diagnostic kit) after the repair is complete.
