   Check for companion codes on the AFS display to determine if multiple modules are reporting missing messages, indicating a physical CAN bus wiring problem.

   Inspect power and ground to the ZDC controller, specifically checking switched fuses (e.g., F-101 [5A] and F-102 [7.5A]) for voltage drops.

   Perform a CAN Bus Resistance Test by disconnecting the battery and measuring resistance between CAN High and CAN Low at the ZDC connector (should be approximately 60 ohms).

   Clear and Retest

   Clear the fault code using the AFS display or the Case IH Electronic Service Tool (EST). Cycle the key to see if the code returns immediately (hard fault) or intermittently (wiring/software glitch).
