Case IH 2282 – ZDC: ZDC - CAN message ExtSwitch00 signal ServiceBrakeSwitchRightState error or not available

A Controller Area Network (CAN) communication error indicating the transmission controller is failing to receive the status of the right service brake switch (ServiceBrakeSwitchRightState) via the CAN bus message designated as ExtSwitch00.

   Verify the physical right service brake switch in the cab for proper operation and continuity.

   Check the Cab Controller/Switch Module to ensure the module broadcasting the ExtSwitch00 message is powered and functioning.

   Inspect the CAN Bus Wiring between the cab switch module and the ZDC for opens, shorts, or corrosion.
