   Inspect CAN bus 2 wiring harness between the UCM controller and the front pilot head actuator for open circuits or shorts

   Check connectors on CAN bus 2 for damaged pins, corrosion, or loose connections

   Verify voltage levels on CAN bus 2 to rule out wiring issues before condemning the module

   Replace the faulty pilot head component

   Replace the faulty pilot head component if the repair ultimately requires it.

   Perform a valve calibration

   You must perform a valve calibration whenever a new valve pilot head is installed.

   Connect a pressure transducer

   Connect a pressure transducer (Special Tool #380001903) using a jumper harness (Special Tool #84148258) to perform the on-board calibration.
