2388-00 - BCM

Case IH 2388-00 - BCM – BCM: Work lamp #8 - too many loads or faulty load

Issue description

The module monitoring the lighting circuit has detected an excessive current draw on the specific output pin assigned to Work Lamp #8. This typically means there is a short circuit to ground, a failed bulb/LED assembly drawing too much amperage, or too many aftermarket accessories spliced into that specific lighting circuit.

Check the cause

  1. Check Work Lamp #8 circuit for a short to ground

  2. Inspect the Work Lamp #8 bulb or LED assembly for internal failure causing excessive amperage draw

  3. Verify if any aftermarket accessories have been spliced into the Work Lamp #8 circuit, causing an overload
