Case IH 2388-03 - BCM – BCM: Work lamp #8 - short circuit to B+
Issue description
The electrical circuit for Work Lamp #8 is inappropriately receiving battery voltage (B+), typically caused when a wire chafes and touches a live power wire, bypassing the intended switch or relay control.

Check the cause
Inspect the wiring harness for melted plastic or exposed wires
Check for corroded terminals, which often show green or white deposits
Verify the integrity of in-line fuses and relays on the dedicated work lamp circuit
