Case IH 2563 – UCM (Universal Control Module): HST inlet (hydro Gport) - pressure too low

This code indicates that the charge pressure sensor on the hydrostatic transmission inlet (Gport) is reading a pressure value that is below the acceptable operational threshold.

   Verify that the tractor battery power supply has not been connected to an external power supply (like a jump starter or external charger). If an external power supply is connected, disconnect it and test the system for normal operation.

   Inspect the hydro Gport pressure sensor connector (X-916) and the UCM connector (X-955). Ensure the connectors are securely connected, not damaged, the pins are in the correct position, and the fit is tight.

   Disconnect connector X-916 and check for a +5 Volt reference signal to ensure the sensor is receiving proper power from the module.

   Address Wiring Issues

   If the diagnostic checks reveal damaged pins, loose connections, or a lack of 5V power at the connector, repair or replace the wiring harness or connector as required.

   Replace the Sensor

   If the connectors and voltage supply are verified to be okay, remove the defective hydro Gport pressure sensor (charge pressure sensor hydrostat) from the hydrostatic transmission block and install the replacement.

   Clear Codes and Test

   Once the repair is complete, use the diagnostic menu or service tool to clear the error code from the UCM. Test the tractor's transmission system for normal operation to ensure the code does not return.
