Case IH 2565 – UCM (Universal Control Module / User Control Module): HST inlet (hydro Gport) - high pressure warning

This code indicates that the hydrostatic transmission (HST) inlet pressure, monitored at the hydro Gport, is reading higher than the acceptable operational limit.

   Verify if any other error codes are displayed. If no other codes are present, proceed to the next step.

   Check that the tractor battery power supply has not been connected to an external power supply (like a jump starter or external charger). If an external power supply is connected, disconnect it and test the system for normal operation.

   Locate the hydro Gport pressure sensor connector (X-916) and the UCM connector (X-955). Ensure the connectors are fully seated, not damaged, the pins are in the correct position, and the fit is tight.

   Disconnect the sensor connector (X-916) and check for a +5 Volt reference supply coming from the UCM.

   Resolve Wiring Issues

   If the diagnostic checks reveal damaged pins, loose connections, or a short/open circuit in the wiring harness between the UCM and the sensor, repair or replace the affected wiring.

   Replace the Sensor

   If the wiring, connectors, and +5V supply are all verified to be in good working order, the primary failure mode is a faulty sensor. Remove and replace the hydro Gport pressure sensor.

   Clear the Code

   Once the physical repair is complete, use the tractor's diagnostic menu or an electronic service tool to clear the stored error code from the UCM.

   Operational Test

   Start the tractor and test the hydrostatic transmission system under normal operating conditions to ensure the high-pressure warning does not return.
