Case IH 2568 – UCM (Universal Control Module): Gear pump (hydro filter) - low pressure warning

This code indicates that the hydraulic charge pressure at the hydro filter has dropped below the acceptable operating threshold.

   Verify if any other error codes are displayed. If no other codes are present, proceed to the next step.

   Ensure that the tractor battery has not been connected to an external power supply. If connected, disconnect it and test the system for normal operation.

   Inspect the hydro filter pressure sensor connector (X-523) and the controller connector (X-955). Ensure they are fully seated, not damaged, pins are in the correct position, and the fit is tight.

   Disconnect connector X-523, turn the key on, and check for a +5 Volt reference signal at the connector.

   Fluid & Filter Check

   Verify the transmission/hydraulic fluid level. Top up with Case IH AKCELA NEXPLORE™ fluid if necessary. If the hydro filter is clogged or past its service interval, replace it.

   Wiring Repair

   If the diagnostic checks reveal damaged pins or wiring at connectors X-523 or X-955, repair or replace the affected harness section.

   Sensor Replacement

   If the wiring is intact, the connectors are tight, the 5V reference is present, and the fluid/filter are in good condition, remove and replace the hydro filter pressure sensor (charge pressure sensor).

   Clear Codes

   Once the physical repair is complete, clear the stored error codes from the UCM. (In the Case IH/New Holland diagnostic interface, the 'HC' menu is used to clear all stored fault codes without erasing calibration information).

   Test

   Test the system for normal operation to ensure the low-pressure warning does not return.
