Case IH 2572 (519167.03) - DEC – UCM: Hydro Gport Pressure Sensor - Short Circuit To 5V
Issue description
The system has detected that the signal voltage from the Hydro Gport pressure sensor (also referred to as the charge pressure sensor hydrostat) is shorted to the 5-volt reference circuit. This prevents the controller from reading the actual hydrostatic transmission inlet pressure.

Check the cause
Verify that the tractor battery power supply has not been connected to an external power supply (like a jump box or external charger). If connected, disconnect it and test the system for normal operation.
Locate the hydro Gport pressure sensor connector (X-916) and the UCM connector (X-955).
Ensure both connectors are securely connected, not damaged, the pins are in the correct position, and that the terminal fit is tight.
Disconnect connector X-916 and check the circuit for +5 Volts to determine if the wiring harness is shorted to the 5V reference line.
Repair steps
Repair Wiring/Connectors
If your diagnostic checks reveal damaged pins, loose connections, or a short to 5V in the harness between X-916 and X-955, repair or replace the affected wiring/connector.
Replace the Sensor
If the wiring harness and connectors test okay (no shorts, good continuity, proper 5V reference and ground), the failure is internal to the sensor. Remove and replace the Hydro Gport pressure sensor.
Clear Codes
Once the physical repair is complete, use the tractor's diagnostic menu (or a diagnostic tool) to clear the stored error code from the UCM.
Test Operation
Start the tractor and test the hydrostatic transmission system for normal operation to ensure the code does not return.
