Case IH 2600 (519375.17) - DEC – Transmission Controller (TCU): Transmission Pressure Sensor - Pressure too low

Regulated transmission system pressure has dropped below the low transmission pressure limit, or there has been a failure in the pressure sensing circuit for more than 0.5 seconds.

   Check transmission fluid levels and condition to ensure fluid is not low or dirty, which can trigger pressure faults

   Visually inspect the transmission pressure sensor wiring harness and electrical plug connections for damage, short circuits, or loose connections

   Access the Trans View and Trans Setup menus on the tractor's programmable display to retrieve, record, and clear any active fault codes

   Verify actual system pressure to determine if the issue is a faulty sensor reading or a true hydraulic pressure drop in the regulator valve

   Locate the Sensor

   The transmission fluid pressure sensor is typically threaded into the transmission control valve, attached to the side of the transmission case, or located within the hydraulic pressure circuits.

   Remove the Faulty Sensor

   Disconnect the 2-pin male spade terminal block harness. Unthread the hex bolt stem base of the sensor from the transmission housing.

   Install the Replacement Sensor

   Thread the new sensor into the port and reconnect the wiring harness.

   Calibrate the Transmission Controller

   Turn the key to the ON position (engine not running) with a fully charged battery and all accessories off. Enter the instrumentation operation setup by pressing and holding the PROG key for 3 seconds within the first 10 seconds of turning the key. Navigate to the TRANS SETUP menu using the DECR and PROG keys. Follow the on-screen prompts to calibrate the transmission components. Once the fill process is finished, press the PROG key to exit transmission calibration.
