An electrical or mechanical fault with a synchronizer solenoid, which is responsible for directing hydraulic fluid to engage gears in a synchro-shuttle or power-shift transmission.

   Check the transmission fluid level and condition (looking for metal flakes or burnt fluid)

   Inspect the wiring harness and electrical connector to the solenoid for damage, corrosion, or being unplugged

   Verify that the shift linkage and shift forks are moving freely and are not damaged or bent
